Mechanic dies in industrial accident at SeaTac trucking company

SEATAC. Wash. — A mechanic died Thursday afternoon in an industrial accident at a SeaTac trucking company.

The incident happened in the 18800 block of 16th Avenue South.

Sgt. Tim Meyer with the King County Sheriff’s Office told KIRO 7 the 62-year-old mechanic was crushed by a trailer he was working on.

When deputies arrived, they attempted CPR but he died at the scene.

Meyer said the incident is an industrial accident.
