SEATTLE, Wash. — Both Cal Raleigh and Josh Naylor underwent surgeries Saturday, the Mariners announced Monday.
According to the Mariners’ General Manager Justin Hollander and Vice President of High Performance and Medical Rob Scheidegger, Raleigh underwent shoulder surgery, while Naylor underwent surgery on his right wrist.
Raleigh’s surgery was a “left shoulder acromioclavicular debridement procedure,” according to Hollander and Scheidegger. This procedure, typically called AC joint surgery, focuses on repairing the point where your collarbone and shoulder meet, according to Healthline.
Naylor, on the other hand, had repair surgery on his triangular fibrocartilage complex, according to the Mariners.
Both are expected to be back in time for Spring Training next year.
The Mariners face the San Diego Padres for their first game of Spring Training Feb. 19.
