Mariners release schedule for 60-game 2020 season

SEATTLE — The Seattle Mariners unveiled the schedule for the abbreviated 60-game 2020 season on Monday.

The Mariners will start the season July 24 on the road with a four-game series against the Astros in Houston.

The first set of home games at T-Mobile Park will be July 31 against the Oakland Athletics.

There will be 40 games against the American League West and 20 games against the National League West as Major League Baseball teams will play within their geographic regions.

Their season will end at the end of September against the Athletics in Oakland.

Fans will not be allowed to attend games initially, but all games will be on ROOT Sports and broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle and the Mariners Radio Network.

The season was delayed and shortened due to the pandemic.
