Man shot in Renton hotel parking lot

RENTON, Wash. — Renton police say a 27-year-old man was shot in a hotel parking lot overnight.

It happened outside the Larkspur Landing Hotel on East Valley Road around 2 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the man, who was shot several times, is expected to survive. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The victim told police he did not know who fired the gunshots.

As of 6:45 a.m., officers remained at the scene investigating.
