SEATTLE — The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) says crews responded to a report of a person in the water near the Fauntleroy Ferry Dock on Wednesday afternoon.
Rescue boats were dispatched at around 3:10 p.m., and teams pulled a man out of the water.
Crews tried to treat him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, SFD said.
Seattle Fire says he was around 66-years-old.
The circumstances leading up to the water rescue are not clear at this time.
