SEATTLE — A 20-year-old man was hospitalized Saturday evening after being stabbed near a soccer field at Roxhill Park in West Seattle.
Seattle police responded to reports of a stabbing shortly after 5 p.m. at the park, located in the 9200 block of 29th Avenue Southwest.
According to the department, officers found the victim with stab wounds to his thigh and torso and provided first aid until Seattle Fire Department crews arrived. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center. His condition was not immediately available.
Police said the man told officers he did not know who stabbed him and was unable to provide a description of the suspect.
Detectives with the Seattle Police Department’s Homicide and Assault Unit are leading the investigation and working to determine what led to the stabbing.
