Man dropped off at Tacoma hospital with gunshot wound dies

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are investigating after a man who was dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound died from his injuries.

Officers were called to a local hospital at 10 a.m. on Monday.

Police said preliminary information from the investigation shows that the shooting happened in the 8800 block of South Hosmer Street.

Detectives and crime scene technicians are at the scene.
