M2.6 quake hits near Bremerton

BREMERTON, Wash. — A magnitude 2.6 earthquake hit near Bremerton Tuesday morning.

It was originally said to be a M3.1, but was downgraded to M2.6.

It happened at 4:49 a.m. about 3.47 miles east of the city.

The quake occurred at a depth of about 15 miles.
