SEATTLE — Local healthcare workers are thanking singer Lizzo after she sent them lunches Monday.
UW Medicine shared on social media that the Grammy-winning artist sent lunches to the UW Medical Center – Montlake Emergency Department.

UW Medicine was one of several hospitals to get the delivery.
“We wanted to send lunch to hospitals across the country, to show our appreciation for the medical workers,” Lizzo said in a video.
