KENT, Wash. — Black Diamond Fire & Rescue were sent to Kent’s Crest Airport Friday morning, July 17, with reports of a possible plane crash.
According to ZONE3PIOs on X, the crews arrived around 11 a.m. to find a small plane just near the airport around the 2900 block of 179th Place SE.
The pilot left the plane with only minor injuries.
They note there was a “minor fuel leak” at the scene, but it was quickly cleaned up.
