According to the Tumwater Police Department, the fire was first reported shortly before 11:30 am Thursday.
The department said it sent all of the city’s fire resources to the scene, along with county crews.
According to Tumwater Fire, crews rescued one person from the building, and the department said no additional injuries have been reported, but it has not done a second sweep of the building.
