SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seattle Kraken are kicking off their 2026-2027 NHL season with a delicious blast, as they previewed many of their new food and drinks at a preview event yesterday, Sept. 22.
KIRO 7 got a first-hand look at some of the 48 unique options available for Kraken fans this year.
From Piroshky Piroshky’s own take on the Seattle Dog to gooey-Oreo-cookie-infused chocolate marshmallow cookies from Cookies with Tiffany, Chef Molly De Mers and the Climate Collective, a team of over a hundred chefs, are cooking up something special this season.
In addition, for vegetarians, a cheesy, Impossible patty melt on Franz rye bread and an Impossible meatball sub with marinara, provolone, and shaved parmesan on a hoagie roll, will be available at Climate Pledge’s Impossible Test Kitchen.
For those looking for a fancy drink, various new cocktails will be available, including the Kraken’s own take on an Aperol Spritz and the head-turning ‘Foghorn,’ a tequila, triple sec concoction, mixed with spicy agave, chipotle pineapple syrup, lime juice, and topped off with a cloud of bubbly, salt foam.
And, if none of those strike your fancy, a good old bag of peanuts (or a classic Fisher scone) will be available for purchase, as well.
The Kraken face the Calgary Flames tomorrow, Sept. 24, at 6:40 p.m., for their third preseason game. The first game of the regular season is slated for next Thursday, Oct. 1, against the Calgary Flames.
