KIRKLAND, Wash. — The Kirkland Police Department announced today that they have found and recovered over $30,000 in stolen goods.
According to a Kirkland PD press release, detectives have connected the stolen goods to multiple burglaries and vehicle prowls across Kirkland, Newcastle, Federal Way, and Bellevue.
Among the stolen items, detectives found two guns, passports, golf clubs, mail, and “several high-end” bikes, according to the press release.
Kirkland detectives are actively working on locating and returning the stolen property back to their rightful owners.
“This case shows the value of strong regional partnerships,” Kirkland Police Chief Mike St. Jean said. “Our ProAct detectives work closely with neighboring agencies to share information, connect cases across city lines, and identify and arrest the people responsible.”
Two suspects have been arrested and are currently being held in King County Jail.
The investigation is still ongoing.
