RENTON, Wash. — After a suspect committed an attempted robbery and assault while on board a Metro bus, the King County Sheriff’s Office is now asking the public to help identify him.
According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect boarded a bus at the Renton Transit Center at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 23. He then allegedly touched a woman inappropriately, and she took his picture, as seen above.
“He confronted her over the photo, assaulted her, and grabbed her phone,” the King County Sheriff’s Office wrote.
The suspect got off the bus at SE 192nd Street and 108th Avenue SE in Kent.
