GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says a dead body was found in Crab Creek near Beverly in central Washington on Saturday night.
A kayaker reported finding the body about 3.5 miles east of State Route 243, the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities responded and used a drone to find the body and came back the next morning to begin recovery.
The Grant County Coroner’s Office is working to notify the victim’s family and determine the cause of death.
