Investigation underway after barista stabbed in grocery store

King County sheriff’s detectives are investigating after a barista was stabbed inside a grocery store in Issaquah.

ISSAQUAH, Wash. — The incident happened Wednesday at the QFC located at 4570 Klahanie Dr. SE.

A 17-year-old boy stabbed a barista at the Starbucks inside the store and then fled, officials said.
The barista was treated, and the suspect was found at a nearby residence, King County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ryan Abbot said.
The 17-year-old was arrested for investigation of assault.
