SEATTLE — As gas leak caused homes and businesses to be evacuated in West Seattle.
The leak at 44th Avenue Southwest and Kilbourne Court Southwest was reported at around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday.
Seattle firefighters went door-to-door evacuating homes and businesses in the area as a safety precaution.
Shortly before 10 a.m., Puget Sound Energy had secured the gas leak.
Firefighters let people know when it was safe for them to return to their homes and businesses.
44th Ave. SW. & Kilbourne Ct. SW.: @PSETalk secured the natural gas line. Firefighters are notifying impacted residents and businesses when it is safe to return to their buildings.
