Gun pulled on couple sharing stall in Bellevue park restroom

BELLEVUE, Wash. — On May 18, a restroom at Crossroads Park in Bellevue was the scene of a tryst gone awry when police were called after a gun was pulled, according to the Bellevue police blotter.

Police say a man and woman were in the women’s stall of the public restroom, where the man later admitted to police he was trying to get “lucky” with the person.

Another woman entered the restroom and after noticing what was going on, left and told her husband.

The husband entered the restroom and told the man to leave or he would call the cops.

The man moved towards the husband and told him if he called the cops, it would be the last thing he ever did.

After the husband was threatened, he reportedly pulled a gun out and told the man to move back.

The man left the restroom, where he was detained by the arriving police.

The original woman that shared the stall said she was not interested in talking with the police and left.

Police determined the husband had a valid concealed weapon permit, and the gun was registered to him.

Neither the man nor the husband wanted to pursue charges, and the man was removed from the park.
