Gatorade recalls more than 120,000 cases across the U.S., including WA

A recall of more than 120,000 cases of Gatorade products has been issued in more than 30 states, including Washington, due to an undeclared ingredient.

According to regulators, certain 28-ounce bottles of Gatorade may contain Yellow 5 and Yellow 6 food coloring that is not listed on the label. The recall affects specific lots of Lemon Lime, Lemon Lime Zero, Orange, and Orange Zero flavors.

The recall only applies to bottles with the lot numbers and best-by dates listed below:

  • Lot 091026 DL — Best by June 7, 2027
  • Lot 091126 DL — Best by June 8, 2027
  • Lot 072226 DT — Best by April 18, 2027
  • Lot 072426 TL — Best by April 20, 2027
  • Lot 073126 TL — Best by April 27, 2027
  • Lot 072926 TL — Best by April 25, 2027
  • Lot 073026 TL — Best by April 25, 2027
  • Lot 081026 TL — Best by May 7, 2027
  • Lot 082126 OA — Best by April 18, 2027
  • Lot 080126 DL — Best by April 28, 2027
  • Lot 082026 DL — Best by May 17, 2027
  • Lot 083126 DT — Best by June 7, 2027
  • Lot 082526 KM — Best by May 22, 2027
  • Lot 090426 KM — Best by June 1, 2027
  • Lot 072726 TL — Best by April 23, 2027

Consumers can check the lot code and best-by date printed on the bottle to determine whether their product is included in the recall. Officials said the recall is limited to the affected lots and flavors listed above.
