Fires at Renton school may be arson

Last Monday, a portable toiled on school grounds also burned down.

An investigation is underway after a second fire broke out at a Renton high school in less than a week.

The latest incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on the grounds of Lindbergh High School.

Investigators are calling both of the fires suspicious.

Fire investigators say a group of high school kids called 911 after finding a mattress burning near the baseball field.

When fire officials arrived, they discovered another fire in a nearby dumpster.

Last Monday, a portable toiled on school grounds also burned down.

School is out for the summer, and the fires were too far away to reach any campus buildings.

No one was hurt in either fire.
