SEATTLE — A fire damaged a vacant building late Sunday night in Seattle’s South Lake Union area.
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire on the top floor of a building located near Johnson Street and Terry Avenue North.
Firefighters said the flames were visible from the top floor when they arrived.
Crews first took a defensive approach to the fire but were able to put it out.
Firefighters searched the building but found no one inside.
No injuries were reported.
It is not yet known what caused the fire, but it is under investigation.
