Fire burns Federal Way church, school

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Firefighters are at the scene of a fire at Brooklake Church and School in Federal Way.

The fire at the church at South 356th near Pacific Highway South was called out about 5:12 a.m. Tuesday.

The fire is under control.

KIRO 7 News video shows firefighters on the roof cutting holes to vent smoke.

The last day of school there was last Friday, so no classes will be disrupted.

The estimated damages and cause of the fire are not yet known.
