Fire breaks out at former Capitol Hill Rite Aid in Seattle

SEATTLE — Fire crews were called to the former Rite Aid on Broadway in Capitol Hill Wednesday morning.

When crews arrived, they were able to put water on the fire that was outside the store.

Seattle Fire crews went inside the vacant store to make sure the flames didn’t extend inside.

The Rite Aid at Broadway and East John Street has been closed since last December.

There were no injuries from the fire response.
