FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Officers with the Federal Way Police Department are searching for a man who they say robbed a Subway on Monday.
Police said they responded to the robbery around noon in the 30000 block of 1st Avenue South – about 1 mile west of Celebration Park.
Officers said two men entered the business with what appeared to be handguns and robbed an employee before fleeing on foot.
Arriving officers said they detained one of the suspects and are now searching for the second man.
A K-9 unit with the Renton Police Department and Guardian One with the King County Sheriff's Office are assisting in the search.
Police said no one was injured in the robbery.
"We can not confirm at this time that the suspects in today robbery are the same as the 7/11 robbery yesterday," a spokesperson for the police department wrote in a news release.
