1 killed in collision on northbound I-5 in Tukwila

TUKWILA, Wash. — A fatal collision involving two trucks on northbound Interstate 5 in Tukwila caused all lanes of traffic to be temporarily shut down Sunday evening.

The collision happened just north of Interstate 405. All northbound I-5 traffic was temporarily diverted.

Washington State Patrol troopers at the scene did not provide any information on what led to the collision, who was killed, or if anyone was injured in the crash, which involved a semitruck and a pickup truck.

Police are investigating the case.
