TACOMA, Wash. — Two drivers were taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after a crash in Tacoma.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes of I-5 at Bay Street.
Investigators said three cars were involved in the crash.
One driver had serious injuries and the other driver had minor injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital
Washington State Patrol trooper Robert Reyer said excessive speed was the main contributing factor in the crash.
After being blocked for several hours, the road reopened.
