Everett police search for suspects who torched bank ATM

EVERETT, Wash. — Everett police are asking the public’s help in locating suspects who torched a bank ATM Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded to a report of a fire alarm at the Coastal Community Bank at 10520 19th Avenue Southeast at about 6 a.m.

Police said a fire started in the bank when someone used blow torch to access the ATM.

On Wednesday, police identified the two suspects as Eli Steen and Jason Korvar, who are both 31 years old and from Everett. The two were caught on surveillance cameras.

Steen and Korvar are also wanted for questioning for several commercial burglaries throughout Snohomish County.

Damage has been estimated at more than $35,000 for the burnt cash, the broken ATM and building repairs.
