Edmonds police look for carjacking suspect

EDMONDS, Wash. — Edmonds police is looking for a carjacking suspect that took off in the car of a teenage driver.

Police say the driver was approached near Edmonds Community College on Highway 99 by a woman who asked for a ride to Swedish of Edmonds.

Investigators say when she tried to drop the suspect off, the suspect told her she wanted the car and had a gun.

Police say the teen driver describes the white female suspect as being between 20 and 30 years old with blonde hair that’s in two braids and wearing a black puffy jacket.

The car the suspect took from the teen is a 2015 Red Subaru Impreza, Washington license plate AWP1969. %

Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.  They also say if you see her, do not approach her and call 911.
