COVINGTON, Wash. — The driver of a stolen Jeep rammed patrol cars before leading deputies on a chase in Covington, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The chase started outside an apartment complex along Kent Kangley Road early Monday.

A KCSO sergeant said deputies approached the driver, who was sleeping behind the wheel. The driver rammed patrol cars and parked vehicles to escape.

Deputies eventually used a pit maneuver to stop the driver on Lake Sawyer Road.

He was arrested.

No deputies were hurt.
