Driver crashes into restaurant in Capitol Hill

SEATTLE — A car crashed into Coastal Kitchen, a restaurant in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, on Tuesday evening, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

Fire crews responded to the restaurant in the 400 block of 15th Avenue East just after 7:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported inside the restaurant.

The driver was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.

Police say once he is cleared, he will be taken into custody.
