SEATTLE — A driver was arrested Wednesday morning after a fatal hit-and-run crash in North Seattle, police said.
Before 9 a.m., a driver failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection of Northeast 130th Avenue and 15th Street Northeast and struck a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition but later died from his injuries.

Investigators said the driver, a 26-year-old man, ran away and officers found him several blocks away. He was taken into custody.
According to police, officers evaluated the driver for signs of impairment and determined he was under the influence.
He was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of vehicular homicide and hit-a-run.
