Deputies search for 2 men in attempted armed robbery at Tacoma pot shop

TACOMA, Wash. — Deputies are searching for two men who tried to rob a pot shop in Tacoma Sunday night.

At about 9 p.m., the two men went inside the Pot Zone in the 800 block of 72nd Street East with masks, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the store employees.

One of the employees called 911 and the two men fled.

Investigators described one of the men as black, in his 20s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie, black sweats and white shoes. The other man was described as black, in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a maroon Nike hoodie, light gray pants and black and white shoes.
