Woman dies in deputy-involved shooting near Auburn

A woman was shot and killed in a deputy-involved shooting Friday night near Auburn.
The shooting happened in the 15800 block of SE 382nd Place.
Deputies were responding to report of a suicidal woman who lived in a home. The deputies were doing a welfare check on the woman. 
When officers arrived, the woman was armed with a handgun.
Two deputies fired at the woman and she died the scene.
Authorities are investigating what led up to the shooting. 

The deputies were taken from the scene and being interviewed by detectives.

There were two children inside the home. They got out safe.

The deputies were placed on administrative leave.
