THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office arrested one person and is searching for another – after someone called 911, saying two people wearing masks were trying to break into cars in Tanglewilde.
Sheriff Derek Sanders shared video of the chase online.
A sergeant found the two suspects on bikes and tried to stop them, but they pedaled away and split off from each other.
A deputy caught up with one of them. The suspect fell, and a BB gun came out of his pocket. The sheriff’s office says the suspect also had a white powdery substance and a radio on him. He was arrested.
The second suspect managed to get away, but law enforcement found his bike and backpack down the street.
