WSDOT workers hurt after semi-truck crash in Renton

RENTON, Wash. — Two Washington State Department of Transportation workers have minor injuries after a crash between a WSDOT truck and a semi in Renton.

KIRO 7 Traffic Anchor Rachel Calderon first heard about the crash on southbound I-405 near Northeast 30th Street at about 4 a.m.

Two lanes were blocked by the crash. As of 4:40 a.m., traffic was backed up a mile. The crash has since been moved to the offramp, where it still remained as of 5:45 a.m.
