Crash involving pole kills young man

ARLINGTON, Wash. — The Snohomish Co. Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that killed a 19-year-old Arlington man.

It happened on Monday night in the 9300 block of Arlington Heights Road when the man’s car left the road hitting a utility pole, police said.

They also say he was the only person in the car and that he died at the scene.

Officers say it was the second fatal crash that day.
