All SB lanes of I-5 in Marysville back open after crash

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A crash involving a motorcycle and car had blocked all southbound lanes of I-5 in Marysville.

The crash happened before 8 p.m. Friday just north of 88th Street Northeast.

Witnesses told troopers that a motorcyclist lost control and laid his bike down on the ground, authorities said.

The motorcyclist, 44, reportedly suffered leg and hand injuries and an injury to the hip.

The driver of a car only hit debris in the road from the motorcycle. The driver was not injured.

Troopers said the motorcyclist was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence.
