ENUMCLAW, Wash. — A brush fire in Enumclaw has shut down a portion of 244th Avenue and is causing power outages in parts of town.
According to police, 244th Avenue is shut down from Roosevelt Avenue to Griffin Avenue.
The brush fire was caused by a vehicle that damaged power lines. No word on the cause of the crash or whether the driver was hurt.
Enumclaw Fire and Puget Sound Energy are on scene to manage the incident.
The road will be closed for several hours.
