CAPITOL HILL, Wash. — Hours after a morning break-in, Capitol Hill’s Bakery Nouveau is back up and running again.
The Seattle-based bakery, which has additional locations in Burien and West Seattle, announced early Sunday morning on Instagram that they would be closed “due to an overnight break-in.”
“The cafe was broken into overnight, and unfortunately we’ll need to close this morning while we clean up, assess the damage, and get things back in order,” the bakery wrote on Instagram.
Nobody was hurt, according to Bakery Nouveau.
Just six hours later, they took to Instagram to announce that they had reopened.
KIRO 7 has reached out to Bakery Nouveau for comment.
