Beth’s Cafe reopens Thursday after pandemic closure

SEATTLE — After being closed due to the pandemic, the breakfast joint known for its 12-egg omelette is reopening this week.

Beth’s Cafe will be back open on Thursday morning.

In a Facebook post, the restaurant closed for “safety and practical considerations” while other restaurants were at 25-50% capacity.

“This has been an incredibly long, difficult year and we at Beth’s Cafe want to thank our loyal patrons who have hung in there with us throughout the pandemic and the subsequent closures,” said owner Hazel Dalton, who also owns the Duck Island Ale House.

The restaurant is slated to open at 7 a.m. Its new hours are weekdays 7a.m.–3 p.m., weekends 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

Along with the new hours, the restaurant said the breakfast menu is still the same but their lunch menu is slightly modified.

“We appreciate your patience, and are beyond grateful to our staff, who have become like family—Chris’s “kids”– over the years,” Dalton said.
