Anti-Vietnam War activist Tom Hayden dies

People are honoring the memory of anti-Vietnam War activist Tom Hayden.

Hayden’s wife says he died in Santa Monica Sunday after a long illness.

The former California legislator was 76 years old.

Hayden visited Seattle back 1999 during the World Trade Organization protests.

He was a defendant in the Chicago 7 trial, accused of conspiracy and incitement after protests at the Democratic National Convention in 1968.

And at one time, Hayden was married to actress Jane Fonda.
