The Washington State Patrol issued an amber alert for Grace Susmilch, a 4-year-old from Kennewick, shortly after 6:30 pm Saturday.
According to the alert, she was forcefully taken from her home off Matthew S Conway Place in Kennewick shortly before 11 am on Saturday.
The alert says, Susmitch was taken by Matthew Susmilch. A 41-year-old with face and neck tattoos. WSP described him as having brown hair and brown eyes, and as wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.
Grace is described as having blonde hair, blue eyes, weighing approximately 40 pounds, and wearing white elastic shorts.
“The disappearance poses a credible threat to Grace’s health and safety,” according to the alert.
WSP has not yet identified a vehicle related to Susmitch’s disappearance but said in the alert that they believe the vehicle has a Washington License plate.
