EDMONDS, Wash. — A cat adoption center and rehabilitation program is raising funds to help homeless cats and cats with special needs.
Purrfect Pals will host its annual Black Cat Ball on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at the Edmonds Waterfront. Tickets are currently available for the animal welfare organization’s largest fundraising event of the year. You can purchase them here.
The Black Cat Ball will help raise money for shelter care, foster care, adoption programs, veterinary services, food, medication and specialized support for cats who often have nowhere else to turn.
The organization specializes in helping cats with medical and behavioral challenges, as well as senior cats and others who may need long-term sanctuary care.
Previously, Clinic manager Miley Wilson told KIRO 7 many of these cats would face different outcomes in traditional facilities.
Representatives emphasized that every cat entering the program receives lifelong protection.
“Our commitment has always been that once a cat becomes a Pals cat, they will always have a safety net with us,” a spokesperson told KIRO 7.
“This year is especially exciting as we continue planning improvements to our Arlington campus so we can better serve cats for many years to come,” a spokesperson for the organization said.
If you can’t attend the event, the shelter is always seeking volunteers or donations.
The Black Cat Ball is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at the Edmonds Waterfront, where ticket sales remain open to the public.
