BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham Police Department (BPD) says car thieves left a kitten inside a stolen car in April.
Officers responded to a report of a stolen car found in a motel parking lot on North Samish Way.
As one officer checked to see if anyone was inside, a kitten was found in the driver’s seat, RPD wrote in a Facebook post.
The cat was given to the Whatcom Humane Society and the stolen car was returned to the owner.
