FREDERICKSON, Wash. — The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly crash at an intersection in Frederickson.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 at Canyon Road E and 200th Street E.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the 84-year-old woman was driving behind a semi-truck that was turning left. That truck turned on a yellow light and the woman tried to go right after, deputies said.
When she was making the turn, a vehicle traveling northbound on a green light hit her car.
The woman died en route to the hospital.
