A tsunami warning was issued for those areas, but was later downgraded to an advisory. However, small tsunami have been observed.
ALASKA: The tsunami warning for South Alaska and the Alaska Peninsula has been downgraded to an advisory. Small tsunami waves have been observed. Stay off the beach and away from harbors. (Source: NTWC)

The Washington Department of Natural Resources said there is no tsunami threat for Washington.
