TACOMA, Wash. — A driver suspected of DUI caused a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Tacoma, police said.
Crews responded to a report of the crash in the 1500 block of Marine View Drive before 7 p.m.
Police said the driver was trying to turn into a parking lot but hit a vehicle, which spun out and hit two more cars.
Five people were taken to the hospital.
Investigators said the driver was a 30-year-old woman who is suspected of driving under the influence and will face vehicular assault charges.
