3 injured in head-on crash in Issaquah

ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Three people were injured in a head-on crash Saturday in Issaquah.

The crash happened after 6:30 p.m. on Highlands Drive Northeast near eastbound I-90.

Police said a driver first hit a semi-truck and kept going. 

Then the driver hit another vehicle head-on, police said. That vehicle had two people inside, and they were injured.

Police said the driver suspected of causing the crash was also injured.

Both victims and the suspect were taken to Overlake Hospital and had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

It is not known if the suspect was driving under the influence but police are investigating.
