2 teenagers injured in Lakewood apartment shooting

LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Two teenagers were injured Tuesday night in a shooting at a Lakewood apartment building, police said.

Lakewood police responded around 6 p.m. to an apartment building in the 8100 block of 29th Ave Court South.

When they arrived, officers learned that the male suspect drove up to the apartment building, got out of his car and shot into an apartment unit.

A 14-year-old boy who was standing in the doorway was hit multiple times and is now in critical condition. A 17-year-old girl got a grazing wound.

Both were taken to the hospital.

There is currently no description of the suspect. Detectives are investigating.
