A 2-year-old and a 4-year-old child were injured Thursday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle in Olympia.
The incident happened off Cushma Road Northeast before 4:30 p.m.
There was a group of three children playing outside when deputies said a 60-year-old neighbor backed out of her driveway and struck two children.
The 2-year-old child was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center with what deputies said were traumatic injuries, and the other had minor injuries.
The third child was not hurt.
Deputies said this was an accident.
